I wonder if the Edwardsville or the town in Alaska that Kelli lives in would have a similar site?Kandicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954275038986015755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057227514679156372.post-42447587879656096542008-11-28T07:26:00.000-08:002008-11-28T07:26:00.000-08:00I have recently visited springfieldmoms.com. It also has a list of restaraunts that have "Kids Eat Free Night." I thought it was neat.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14549650842141741040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057227514679156372.post-56108477502595756092008-11-25T11:13:00.000-08:002008-11-25T11:13:00.000-08:00Another good book is The Happiest Baby on the Bloc...Another good book is The Happiest Baby on the Block by Dr. Harvey Karp. I've read it so many times that it's nearly worn out! Let me know if anyone would like to borrow it - it may be more helpful once the baby arrives. (I don't know about you, but my memory is not quite up to par when I'm pregnant.) Dr. Karp suggests ways to sooth and comfort babies (he calls them the 5 S's) - and they really worked for us.Kara McElwrathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08134654203845140715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057227514679156372.post-88031470409895981002008-11-19T16:44:00.000-08:002008-11-19T16:44:00.000-08:00Kara, I have never heard of these books - but now ...Kara,

I have never heard of these books - but now I want to buy one - at least The Girlfriends Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood. :) Thanks for the tip!Kandicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954275038986015755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057227514679156372.post-90155158627746259372008-11-17T14:12:00.000-08:002008-11-17T14:12:00.000-08:00This isn't an online resource, but if any of you a...This isn't an online resource, but if any of you are interested in some entertaining, yet truthful reading then I highly recommend any of 'The Girlfriend's Guide' books. They are fantastic, written by a mother of 4. Not a doctor, but after giving birth 4 times, she definitely counts as an expert to me!

I literally laughed out loud throughout each book. I've read The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, The Girlfriend's Guide to Baby Gear, and The Girlfriend's Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood. I've been passing them around between friends, and I think I currently have them all back so just let me know if you'd like to borrow any!Kara McElwrathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08134654203845140715noreply@blogger.com
