What kind of online resources have you found most helpful? I found the BabyCenter.com to have lots of great information. Have any of you gone to this site?
This isn't an online resource, but if any of you are interested in some entertaining, yet truthful reading then I highly recommend any of 'The Girlfriend's Guide' books. They are fantastic, written by a mother of 4. Not a doctor, but after giving birth 4 times, she definitely counts as an expert to me!
I literally laughed out loud throughout each book. I've read The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, The Girlfriend's Guide to Baby Gear, and The Girlfriend's Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood. I've been passing them around between friends, and I think I currently have them all back so just let me know if you'd like to borrow any!
I have never heard of these books - but now I want to buy one - at least The Girlfriends Guide to Surviving the First Year of Motherhood. :) Thanks for the tip!
Another good book is The Happiest Baby on the Block by Dr. Harvey Karp. I've read it so many times that it's nearly worn out! Let me know if anyone would like to borrow it - it may be more helpful once the baby arrives. (I don't know about you, but my memory is not quite up to par when I'm pregnant.) Dr. Karp suggests ways to sooth and comfort babies (he calls them the 5 S's) - and they really worked for us.
I have recently visited springfieldmoms.com. It is full of coupons, recipes, and events around town that you can enjoy with your baby. It also has a list of restaraunts that have "Kids Eat Free Night." I thought it was neat.

Welcome! I created this blog so that my friends/family and I could talk about our experiences, fear, and excitement of our current pregnancies. I hope you all enjoy talking to each other and find that keeping each other updated will help us be awesome moms!
